تمكنت مصالح الأمن الوطني ممثلة في فرقة الشرطة القضائية لأمن دائرة الخروب من وضع حد لنشاط شخص مشتبه فيه في ترويج المخدرات الصلبة من نوع الكوكايين.
وجاءت العملية في إطار الجهود المتواصلة لمكافحة مختلف أشكال الجريمة والاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات، حيث أسفرت عن توقيف المشتبه فيه وحجز كمية من الكوكايين قدر وزنها 15 غراماً.
كما مكنت العملية من حجز مبلغ مالي يُشتبه في كونه من عائدات نشاط الترويج، بالإضافة إلى مركبة كان يستغلها المعني في نقل وتوزيع المخدرات.
وبعد استكمال الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، تم إعداد ملف قضائي ضد المشتبه فيه وتقديمه أمام الجهات القضائية المختصة للنظر في الوقائع المنسوبة إليه.
