“الأونروا” : تضاعف سوء التغذية بين أطفال غزة ونفاد أكثر من نصف الإمدادات الطبية

حذّرت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين “الأونروا“، يوم الأربعاء، من تفاقم الوضع الصحي في قطاع غزة، مؤكدة أن سوء التغذية بين الأطفال دون سن الخامسة تضاعف بين مارس ويونيو الماضيين، نتيجة الحصار الصهيوني المتواصل على القطاع.

وأوضحت الوكالة في بيانها أن خدماتها الطبية تعاني من نقص حاد في الموارد، مشيرة إلى أن 57% من الإمدادات الطبية الأساسية قد نفدت بالكامل، مضيفة: “الأطفال يموتون أمام أعيننا لأننا نفتقر إلى الغذاء والإمدادات الطبية اللازمة لعلاجهم”.

وكشفت “الأونروا” أن المنع الصهيوني المستمر حال دون إدخال أدوية حيوية، من بينها أدوية ضغط الدم، والمضادات الحيوية، وعلاجات الطفيليات، والفطريات، والتهابات العيون، والجلد، محذّرة من أن استمرارها في تقديم الخدمات الصحية في غزة بات مهدداً بشكل خطير.

وفي السياق نفسه، أعلنت السلطات الصحية الفلسطينية عن ارتفاع حصيلة ضحايا العدوان الصهيوني المستمر على غزة منذ 7 أكتوبر 2023، إلى 58,573 شهيدًا، غالبيتهم من النساء والأطفال، إضافة إلى 139,607 جريحًا.

وكان الاحتلال الصهيوني قد استأنف عدوانه على قطاع غزة في 18 مارس الماضي، بعد هدنة مؤقتة استمرت شهرين بموجب اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار دخل حيز التنفيذ في 19 جانفي، إلا أن قوات الاحتلال خرقت الاتفاق مرارًا، مستهدفة مناطق مختلفة من القطاع الذي يعيش مأساة إنسانية غير مسبوقة.
