أعلنت الاتحادية الإفريقية لكرة القدم عن اعتماد تسعة ملاعب جزائرية لاستضافة مباريات الأندية الوطنية في البطولات الإفريقية المقبلة، وفي مقدمتها رابطة أبطال إفريقيا وكأس الكونفدرالية. وتشمل القائمة: ملعب علي عمار، ملعب نيلسون مانديلا، ملعب 5 جويلية 1962، وملعب الرويبة بالعاصمة، إضافة إلى ملعب حسين آيت أحمد بتيزي وزو، ملعب ميلود هدفي بوهران، ملعب 19 ماي 1956 بعنابة، ملعب الشهيد حملاوي بقسنطينة، وملعب مصطفى تشاكر بالبليدة.
ويأتي هذا القرار تزامنًا مع استعدادات الفرق الجزائرية لخوض المنافسات القارية، حيث سيمثل مولودية الجزائر وشبيبة القبائل البلاد في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، بينما سيشارك كل من اتحاد العاصمة وشباب بلوزداد في كأس الكونفدرالية.
